As Small Business owners, we have a duty to uphold. That duty, to our employees, partners, suppliers and service providers is to communicate in a timely manner and pay our bills on time, among other things. What happens when we fail at this? Well, that depends on how you handle the situation. Join Dave and Shannon on episode 97 of the Small Business Show to discuss a real world example of how NOT to handle things when they go wrong. We also discuss the impact of employees, suppliers and customers having their own audiences to share their experiences with – are you OK with word getting out about how you treat your employees? We hope you are, because that is just a few clicks away for every Small Business.
Listen in to the show and then join the conversation on the Small Business Support Group!

Thanks for talking about this on your show, Dave and Shannon. IYour analysis and commentary was fair. I appreciated how you made it clear that the owner and his former partner are your friends, but you didn’t take sides.
One thing I wanted to comment on – at one point you wondered if I was disgruntled and determined that I was. I thnk this is fair and accurate, as anyone in my position would be disgruntled. There’s been no closure, so this has had time to fester. I mean, I’m not sitting here stewing in my juices plotting revenge…but there is still residual anger because of how long it’s taking me to get paid and put this all behind me. Disgruntled is fair.
With that in mind, I hope I presented my story in a way that expresses my frustration, rather than pettiness and anger that often comes with being disgruntled.
